Europe is home to millions of people of Indian origin, spread across the France, Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, Italy and beyond. The Global Indian Organisation (GIO) is a global connector and plays a transformative role in strengthening bridges between India and Europe across education, culture, business, innovation, entrepreneurship, healthcare, and social progress.
As the world becomes increasingly interconnected, our ambition is to establish strong GIO chapters in major European countries, transforming them into hubs of cooperation. GIO is about creating living future bridges of trusts, talents, and opportunities between nations and Indians worldwide linking India’s dynamism deeper and stronger with Europe’s opportunities. GIO sees this diversity as a strength to be harnessed.
Education and Knowledge as Cornerstones
One of the strongest areas where GIO can shape Indo-European relations is through education. Universities in India and Europe are already collaborating, but GIO can accelerate this exchange by creating platforms for student mobility, faculty partnerships, and joint research projects.
