Dr. Urmil Verma is a distinguished educationist with over 37 years of experience in teaching, academic leadership, and institutional development. Her career reflects a deep commitment to educational excellence and social upliftment, with a particular focus on empowering women through education.

As Executive Trustee & CEO of the Cordia Group of Institutes, Punjab, Dr. Verma has led impactful initiatives spanning from kindergarten to postgraduate education, transforming opportunities for students in rural India—especially young women.

In her capacity as Director of the Lord Rana Foundation (UK), she oversees philanthropic programs that advance educational access and community development across India. At the global level, as Chairperson of the Education Council of the Global Indian Organization (GIO), she drives educational initiatives aimed at strengthening the Indian diaspora’s connection to knowledge, culture, and social responsibility.
