Dr Anshul Gupta

Dr Anshul Gupta is a former British NHS surgeon turned financier. He qualified in medicine from UCL and then retrained with a Master’s degree in Finance from one of the U.K.’s leading business schools.

Now he is a co-founder of a digital bank (www.Realis.Finance) which specialises in international payments and corporate banking. He is also a co-founder of a Venture Capital fund (www.AbraVC.com) which invests in early stage tech companies and start-ups.

Aside from this he also personally invests in property and is a partner in a 300 year old Italian commodities trading firm that trades oil & gas, petroleum products, precious metals, agricultural products and foodstuffs.

Outside of his work he enjoys collecting fountain pens, fine wine, classic cars and watches.

He is Chair of the GIO Business Council and is based in London.
