accounting, and commerce.
He serves as the President of the Global Organisation of the People of Indian Origin
(GOPIO Singapore). The organisation aims to strengthen cultural heritage, foster

mutual growth, development, and advancement. GOPIO Singapore also seeks to
harness and synergise the professional and intellectual resources of Indians in
Singapore and globally, enabling them to realise their fullest potential.
In addition, he holds the position of Vice President (Asia Region) of the Global Indian

diverse and multicultural society.
He further contributes to language education and cultural development as an
Executive Member of the Tamil Language Learning & Promotion Committee (TLLPC)
under the Ministry of Education. In addition, he serves as an advisor to several non-

effort to establish a separate Division T in Singapore, bringing together 18 Tamil
Toastmasters clubs under District 80. After nearly 18 years of engagement and
negotiation with Toastmasters International, he also played a pivotal role in securing
recognition for Tamil as one of the official languages within the organisation.
