As per September 1st 2025 we have appointed two new directors of GIO Limited, our legal entity to establish a transparent and professional diaspora advocacy organisation. Dr. Pradip Sewoke, French national, intervention cardiologist by profession, has been appointed as Codirector of GIO Limited, based on his experience in Diaspora Associations and as a former senior official of the global organisation of people of Indian origin. Mr. Anshul Gupta, MBA, British national & investment banker by profession in London, has been appointed as the Co-director of GIO Limited. Mr. Gupta also currently serves as Chairman of GIO’s Business Council and a member of the GIO Executive Council. The executive committee has entrusted them with responsibility of regulatory and esp. financial compliance as required by British regulatory requirements. They will also be part of the periodic meetings on our compliance and financial reporting.
GIO is also happy with the appointment of GIO’s stalwart Mr. Mehen Poinoosawmy, French national and technology professional, as International Vice-President of GIO. He currently serves as GIO’s Regional Vice-President of Europe and active in many other GIO initiatives such as chapter expansion. He will join Mrs. Pria Hassan, already serving as Vice-President of GIO Intl. in the Executive Committee and South African national & CEO of WOA Group. We wish all of them in their new role and we hope you will also congratulate them with their trusted responsibilities.
